After 4 days of hard labor, working in the hot sun, the club and fleet are finally ready to go! With the help of the senior instructors we gave the 420 and Hunter fleets extreme-makeovers. Not only were the boats fitted with new parts and lines, but their hulls were compounded and waxed to perfection. The docks were given a little TLC as well, they have been power-washed, as well as carpet replaced and cradles repaired.
In other news, the sail shed has a floor! With 40 years of old sails, and rusted out boat parts disposed of the shed can now be used
for its main purpose, stowing working sails. Let's cross our fingers and hope it stays this way!
